Kind Rebellion Live Streamed Concert

Join New Note Orchestra on Sunday July 4th at 7.30 pm for an evening of music and conversation exploring how small acts of kindness can make you happy and improve your well being. New Note Orchestra will be performing their album ‘Kind Rebellion’ which will be followed by a panel discussion chaired by Prof Robin Banerjee, head of the Kindness Research Department at the University of Sussex. The panel will include leading kindness research experts and kindness campaigners. They will explore how small acts of kindness can dramatically improve our lives and the positive effect they have on our brains.

The musicians within New Note Orchestra are all in recovery from addiction and all have fascinating stories to tell about how music has helped to heal them. The musicians are united in both their love of music and their desire to belong to a community of like-minded people they can rely on for support and friendship without judgment.

Recovery takes patience, tolerance and kindness. Kind Rebellion is an album created by conductor Conall Gleeson and the New Note Orchestra inspired by the idea that kindness is the cornerstone of ongoing sobriety.

The New Note Orchestra will also be joined by the Kind Rebellion string quartet.

The show will be streamed from The Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts in Brighton, one of the best performance venues in the South East and will be directed by Angus Cameron.

We have given you some pricing options based on a ’pay what you can afford’ model. All price points will include access to the show and a free download code for a track from the Kind Rebellion album. If you spend over £10 you will be given a 10% discount code for when the album is released.

The album Kind Rebellion will be available on 5th July to download.

All profits will be reinvested into the orchestra and used to continue supporting our musicians. New Note is a registered charity.
